Got a new case but cant use the front USB ports and audio connectors because of the generated EMI noise?\r

For some reason, case manufurers join the ground of both the audio connectors and the USB on the front panel PCB. This creates a ground loop which results in current being leaked from the USB port into the audio circuit. Some motherboards dont exhibit this behavior, but most of them do. The generated noise is very annoying and is similar to coil whine, basically rendering the front USB ports unusable.\r
