I decide to go out and try the first round of the District 4 Enduro series which is the Arcadia Bark Busters Sprint Enduro. This is my first sprint enduro that I've ever done. Weather conditions were not ideal, but I had fun!
HOW A SPRINT ENDURO WORKS:
"Tests" are marked loops that are approximately 2-7 miles in length. In this event, there were three "tests". When you start your test, your start time is recorded down. When you complete your test, your end time is marked down. You must do all the tests in the allotted time and in order.
The difference between your end time and start time (the time it took for you to do the test) is then calculated for each test. Add up all the tests, and that is your total time it took to do all the tests. The person with lowest time wins!
