Severe thunderstorms and high winds swept across the greater Toronto, Canada, area and most of southern Ontario on May 4, according to reports, causing roof shingles to flap in the wind, toppling trees and knocking out power.
Severe winds from the storm led to the death of a tree-service worker, CTV reported, after a tree came down and injured a two-person team. The other person was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries, CTV reported.
