Smoke Rises From Site of Fatal C-130 Crash in Savannah

A Puerto Rico National Guard C-130 aircraft crashed in Savannah, Georgia, on May 2, killing all nine crew members on board.

At a media briefing, officials said the crash happened shortly after takeoff from Savannah International Airport, at around 11.28 am.

Surveillance footage of the crash showed the plan nosedive to the ground.

An investigation was underway to establish the cause of the crash.
