A severe hailstorm battered southwestern China's Anshun city, leaving thick ice covering streets.
In the video, filmed on May 1, hailstones strike vehicles trapped on roads covered in 40cm-thick ice.
More than 70 people from emergency services were sent to the scene.
No casualties were reported.
