Dr David Giddins, an automotive glass consultant, goes into detail about how the glass is toughened. Mike Fallon, from Triplex, talks about technology that has been developed including heated windscreen with raindrop sensor. Triplex are consultants to the young car designers at London College of Art and they show the winning design of a car design competition.
