J.Cole’s ‘KOD’ Tops the Billboard Top 200 Albums Chart Cole’s fifth studio album sold 397,000 album units in its first week, marking 2018’s biggest week for an album, according to Nielsen. ‘KOD’ had a tremendous week streaming wise, tallying 322.7 million on-demand streams, beating Migos’ ‘Culture II’ by almost 100 million to become the most-streamed album of the year. The 322.7 million streams also gave ‘KOD’ the third-largest streaming week ever for an album. In traditional album sales, ‘KOD’ racked up 174,000 units sold, making it the second-largest sales week of 2018, behind Justin Timberlake’s ‘Man of the Woods.’ Cole dropped ‘KOD’ without much promotion on April 20.
