Angola Prison is considered one of the worst prisons in the United States, possibly in the world. There are 6,000 inmates, and most of them are there either for life, or awaiting the death penalty. Each weekend in October, the prison puts on a rodeo, with the prisoners as the competitors.

Angola Prison opens the event to the public, and charges an admission fee.
The annual event is decried by Human Rights activists.

"They have to risk their life and limb sometimes to ride these wild horses for the entertainment of others. That is the price they pay," said Alex Freeman, director of the US-based Human Rights Defense Center. #Justice
