Protests took place in a number of Spanish cities on April 26 after five men accused of the gang rape of a teenager were instead found guilty of the lesser charge of sexual abuse, according to local reports.

The attack in 2016 occurred during the running of the bulls festival in Pamplona. The men were sentenced at a Navarre court on Thursday to nine years in prison, five years of probation and ordered to pay a fine to the woman, El País reported.
