The shoot for Salman Khan and director Kabir Khan’s next collaboration, Tubelight, has already begun. The film is due to release in Eid 2017. The first 15 days of the shooting took place in Ladakh and the team was supposed to head to Kashmir next.
However, due to increasing political unrest in the valley, the cast and crew had to re-locate. Salman is currently back in Mumbai, but will be leaving for Manali soon enough, where the second phase will be shot. The team chose Manali for having similar and suitable locations. According to reports, the shoot is a little behind schedule as the second phase was supposed to have started this month itself, but will now start from the first week of September.
Salman will be back in Mumbai by October for Big Boss 10. Tubelight is set in the back-drop of the Sino-Indian war of 1962, and depicts a love story between Salman Khan and Chinese actress Zhu Zhu’s characters.
