Cheap wine could get pricier as global production drops

“Here's some bad news for wine lovers: global wine production hit a historic low in 2017, which means the prices for your favorite cheap wine could rise,” USA Today reported.

“Analysts said that producers, dealers and retailers will absorb some of the price hikes, but consumers will end up paying more — especially for cheaper bottles,” CNNMoney reported.
