Angry passengers argue with Kingfisher Airlines staff, on arrival at Kolkata airport from Delhi, due to the departure of their onward flight to Bangkok. This situation arose due to the inefficiency of a single Kingfisher staffer at Delhi airport, as she assured all the passengers that their onward connection would wait for their flight to reach Kolkata, which was not the case. The Kingfisher folks in Kolkata were actually most helpful and efficient, and had to bear the brunt of the passengers' anger, all due to one person's upstream inefficiency!
With the airline facing cash shortfall pressure, the real pressure falls on the excellent staff and crew of the airline who have to stave off anger from passengers! Dr. Mallya - it's time for you to take some proactive action and save your superb ground and flight staff from such situations! We don't want Kingfisher airline to go down-hill, as it still has the best service of any airline in India...
