The planned construction of a grand Ram temple in Ayodhya is yet to be a reality, but a temple dedicated to his wife Sita will soon come up at Sitamarhi district in north Bihar. The Bihar government is all set to begin the construction of a grand Sita temple complex at her birthplace in Punaura Dham. A small temple at the site already exists. According to sources, a ceremony will take place on April 24. The reconstruction of the Sita temple will be inaugurated by Bihar CM Nitish Kumar. For the proposed temple complex, his government has allotted 20 acres of land. BJP national vice-president and Rajya Sabha MP, Prabhat Jha had come up with the idea and is spearheading the work along with CM Nitish.
