In a shocking incident, a minor Dalit girl who became pregnant following her gangrape was forced by a local panchayat in Kharkhauda area of Meerut to settle the case in exchange of Rs 3 lakh. Police finally took cognizance of the crime and lodged an FIR at Kharkhauda police station.
