Prime Minister Narendra Modi fielded a series of questions at the ‘Bharat ki Baat, Sabke Saath’ townhall event in Central Hall Westminister on Wednesday, addressing a host of issues including the protests surrounding crimes against women in India as well as terrorism. He is in London to hold bilateral talks with British PM Theresa May and to attend a Commonwealth Summit. He spoke for over two hours to a cheering crowd. However, there were claims by Indian students in UK that they were not granted permission to attend the event. Modi was also greeted with demonstrations against the recent rape cases in India.
