But he has a new plan to save the classic toy giant.
The billionaire businessman said that his GoFundMe campaign was a publicity stunt to attract investor interest.
On Friday he put in a $675 million dollar bid to buy 274 U.S. Toys R Us stores.
The money comes form "Larian's coffers, other investors, and bank financing.
