Director's Note: This story takes place right after the Xena episode "God Fearing Child" and examines the consequences of Hercules killing Zeus; thus creating a new Series Finale
Summary: The Olympian Gods are in pursuit of Xena's new born child which the Fates decreed would bring about the twilight of the gods. It appear the prophecy is true which has begun with the death of Zeus at the hands of Hercules. Hercules feels tremendous guilt for killing Zeus and the gods use Hercules’ guilt against him by giving him nightmares and apathy. Athena and all the gods will unite to find and kill Xena’s baby with only Ares being Xena's unlikely ally while Hercules will travel to farthest ends to try and bring Zeus back to life. With the help of Iolaus, Xena, and Gabrielle, Hercules must succeed his mission in order to regain his hero's heart and unite with Xena in the battle against Athena and the rest of the Olympian gods.
