The Supreme Court is hearing the plea West Benagl unit of the Bjp. Who had filed a petition over the panchayat polls violence in different parts of the state. The West Bengal unit of Bjp in its petition to the Supreme Court said that the candidiates are unable to get forms for panchayat polls. They have sought that the nomination dates for the panchayat polls be extended by a day or two & further said that nomination forms must be available online. Meanwhile, Centre has told sc that Cong , Bjp and CPIM are asking for central force in the violence het West Bengal.The centre told sc that it is its constitutional duty to provide it.
