Nov 30, 2010: Children in the south west of the Central African Republic are suffering from hunger and malnutrition. The country's diamond and timber industries were severely damaged by the global economic crisis, reducing the already meagre income of families. Since this video was filmed, we are sad to report that Cristela Nyamkoi Blaise, the girl featured at the beginning of the video, has died.
