Patriots' Julian Edelman Helped Stop a Potential
School Shooting The New York Times reports that last month, Edelman had received a comment on one of his Instagram posts where someone threatened to "shoot [his] school up." Another user on Instagram let Edelman know about the comment and he and his assistant showed it to
the authorities. According to the New York Times, Police in Boston and in Michigan were able to track the comment to a home in Port Huron, MI, where police found a 14-year-old boy who admitted to posting the comment. They also found two rifles in the home belonging to the boy's mother. The boy was then taken to a juvenile-detention center and is charged with making a false report of a threat of terrorism.
