Fijian Police Smash Window of Car Partially Submerged by Floodwaters

A Fijian police officer was filmed on April 1 smashing the window of a car, which was partially submerged by knee-deep floodwaters in Lautoka during Tropical Cyclone Josie.

After breaking the glass with a pipe and unlocking the doors, the officer reaches into the car to check for people. “The police didn’t find anyone in the car,” according to the uploader.
