WKU returned the opening kickoff of its game with Marshall for a touchdown on its way to a big win over the Thundering Herd. Kylen Towner faked a reverse then raced 93 yards for what would be the first of many trips to the end zone for the Hilltoppers. WKU won 60-6 and advanced to the Conference USA title game for a second straight year.
