In a Nevada desert on November 4th of 2017, Koenigsegg made modern automotive history with a series of world record runs.
Developed and built in Sweden, Koenigsegg Agera RS unleashed the full potential of the hypercar's 1.341-horsepower twin-turbocharged 5.0-liter V-8. Officially recognized as the world's fastest production car heading into 2018, the Agera RS performed a pair of speed runs averaging a top speed of 447.19 kilometers per hour or 277.87 miles per hour. The hypercar also achieved a record-high performances in 0 to 400 kilometer per hour travel with a 33.29-second run and a top speed on a public street at 457.94 kliometers per hour or 284.55 miles per hour.
Only 25 examples of the Koenigsegg Agera RS will be sold at a price expected to exceed $2-million.
