Abby Lee Miller is a free woman!

The Dance Moms star was released on Tuesday, March 27th from the Victorville Federal Correctional Institution in California, after serving just months of her 366-day sentence.

However, she’s not totally free yet. A source says former Dance Moms star left Victorville federal prison this morning, and is currently en route to a halfway house in Van Nuys, California.

On July 12, 2017, Abby Lee was sentenced to a year and a day in jail.

The 51-year-old dance coach was charged with concealing hundreds of thousands of dollars’ worth of income during her Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

In June 2016, Abby Lee pled guilty to not reporting an international monetary transaction and one count of concealing bankruptcy assets.

In addition to jail time, the Lifetime star was also ordered to pay a $40,000 fine and spend two years on probation following her release.

A source told RadarOnline.com that Abby would be getting out early due to good behavior. She was initially expected to be released in January.

As previously reported, Miller was expected to transfer to the Van Nuys halfway house on April 18 after many initial delays.

She was “furious” when she wasn’t transferred in February as expected, a source said.

Following her stay in prison, Abby won’t be an entirely free woman. “She is hoping for house arrest but most likely could be released into a halfway house,” a source said.

Despite the trauma of going behind bars, insiders say Abby’s health has improved during her stint.

Prior to entering prison, she underwent gastric bypass surgery, and has lost a whopping 100 pounds behind bars.
