Although this is a long video, I believe I covered almost everything there is to know about the new Partner Customization, and all the cool stuff that goes along with it. Starting in the Time Nest, the purple Expert Mission ball along with the Partner Customization bot will allow you to being the Story Mode with Grand Elder Kai. After the initial conversation with Elder Kai, Fu will eventually appear with more Story Mode to be completed. During these events, Partner Customization is introduced into the game.This video explains the relevance, importance, and urgency to begin the customization of your trainer/partner as soon as possible. This video also explains what to do with the gifts from the TP Medal shop for the Z fighters, Allies, and Villains. It explains how to make the gifts available in the TP Medal shop, and how to equip them with your partner. Dual skills and partner customization go hand in hand. Only after you complete all 4 lessons of your partner/trainer, and have raised the blank meter on the right side of your partner/trainers face to a full red bar that reads MAX, under "Instruction Information" in Options, and in the Play Data Tab, will you then be able to acquire that Trainer's/Partner's Dual Skill. Also, you must complete all 4 lessons of your Trainer/Parter, get all 3 of his/her marks, and the Dual Skill, to finally get the "Gift" available in the TP Medal shop. Once you complete these obligations with your Trainer/Partner, you must make him/her your instructor, complete at least one mission (any mission at all that gives you a letter grade), go back to your trainer and talk with him/her, then finally go back to the TP Medal Shop where the Gift for that Trainer/Partner will finally be available.
I realize and understand this a lot of information. It is for the experienced player, but do not fret if you are new to the game. I only know this information because people were kind enough to teach me, and I have been playing for over a year. Anyone can accomplish these tasks. Like I always say, "You just gotta put in the work!"
