The paper leak fiasco has taken over the nation and what have come to surface are the major loopholes in the system and security of the CBSE. The biggest glaring mistake staring us on the face is that despite repeated warning of paper leaks, on the eve of the exams, CBSE went ahead with the exams nonetheless. The CBSE in its defence said that it did not want to disturb the law and order situation and therefore did not cancel exams. Also, the cops ignored the leak warning and the shielded CBSE. There were complaints of even the CBSE supervisors not cooperating and not tallying the question paper. And in this entire mess, the CBSE chief was nowhere to be seen, she was reportedly launching a book in some other part of the country.
