In an event held at the Brookings Institution on April 21, 2016, Bruce Riedel, a former top CIA official and adviser to four American presidents, said that the US is a partner of Saudi Arabia in its war on Yemen, a war which is causing a humanitarian catastrophe for 20 million Yemenis.
