Great Pacific Garbage Patch: A trash pile twice the size of Texas

Researchers and environmentalists are alarmed at the growing garbage patch located in the Pacific Ocean between California and Hawaii. It is twice the size of Texas and it is still getting larger at an accelerating rate.
