KILLY first stirred up viral buzz last year with his song “Killamonjaro,” raking in over 15 million YouTube views for its official video that was reportedly shot at a house party for $300.
In March, the Toronto rapper released his debut project ‘Surrender Your Soul,’ putting his skills front and center with no additional artist features. One of the project’s standout tracks is the Y2K-produced “No Sad No Bad.”
KILLY wrote the track after taking his first trip to Los Angeles. The rapper tells Genius that he was instantly impressed with the city upon arriving at the airport, and the song’s intro naturally popped into his head.
