Chicken tikka or Murgh tikka is a very popular chicken dish in India.It is traditionally small pieces of boneless chicken baked using skewers in a clay oven called a tandoor after marinating in spices and yogurt—essentially a boneless version of chicken.The word tikka means bits or pieces. It is also a chicken dish served in Punjabi cuisine. The Punjabi version of the dish, however, is grilled over red-hot coals, and does not always contain boneless pieces. The pieces are brushed with ghee or oil at intervals to increase its flavour. It is typically eaten with green coriander and tamarind chutney served with onion rings and lemon, or used in preparing a chicken tikka masala.\r
There are different varieties of chicken tikka kebab. They are hariyali chicken tikka, malai chicken tikka,Banjara kebab, shish kebab and so many tikka is there.\r
Today i am going to make three easy chicken tikka kebab n they are hariyali chicken kebab,malai chicken kebab and hot and spicy chicken kebab.\r

First i want to show you green chicken kebab.\r

Ingredients:\r

Spinach puree 1/4 cup\r
Thick curd 1 tbsp\r
Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp\r
Turmeric powder 1 tsp\r
Cooking oil 2-3 tsp\r
Red chilli powder 1 tsp\r
Garam masala 1/2 tsp\r
Coriander powder 1/2 tsp\r
Cumin powder 1/2 tsp\r
Fenugreek leaves powder 1/2 tsp\r
Salt 1 tsp\r
Chicken pieces 4-6\r

Method: Mix all the ingredients together and make a smooth paste.Next add the chicken pieces(4-6) and marinate well.Then keep it in the refrigerator for 1 hour.\r

Malai chicken tikka :\r

Ingredients :\r

Thick curd 1 tbsp\r
Fresh cream 2 tbsp\r
Butter 1 tsp\r
Ginger garlic 1 tsp\r
Salt 1 tsp\r
Paper powder 1/2 tsp\r
Fenugreek leaves powder 1/2 tsp\r
Chicken pieces 4-6 \r

Method:In a bowl add all the spices together and then add the chicken pieces.Mix them well and give a good marination.Then keep it in the refrigerator for 1 hour.\r

Hot and spicy chicken tikka :\r

Ingredients:\r

Chicken pieces 4-6\r
Red food color\r

Method: Mix all the ingredients together and make a smooth paste.Next add the chicken pieces(4-6) and marinate well.Then keep it in the refrigerator for 1 hour.\r

After 1 hour now arrenge all the marinated chicken into the skwer and apply little extra marinating masala.Then place them into the cooking tray.Oven should be pre heated for 10 minutes in 230 degree centigrade.Now cook them in 230 degree for about 40 minutes and turn the other side after 20 minutes and your tri color chicken tikkas are done.Serve these tikkas with green chutney as a starter or appetizer.\r
