Description of Soi Cheang a.k.a. Cheang Pou-Soi's Limbo from YumCha!: "[LIMBO is] a gritty and grisly psychological mystery thriller filled with blood, body parts and trash. Gordon Lam plays a recently reinstated cop who partners with Mason Lee's police academy graduate to investigate a serial murder case. The two are not only unable to crack the case, they also trigger a series of escalating events. Lam's character reencounters the street kid (Cya Liu) who destroyed his family, while Lee's character makes a critical misfire that unwittingly connects him to the killer who lurks in the shadows. ¶ LIMBO is based on a story by mystery writer and criminal psychology expert Lei Mi, who is well known for the CRIMINAL MINDS series."
Limbo was produced by Wilson Yip and Paco Wong. Acccording to YumCha!, it co-stars "Japanese actor Ikeuchi Hiroyuki (MANHUNT), as well as Sammy Sum (YOUNG AND DANGEROUS: RELOADED), Fish Liew (SISTERHOOD), Hanna Chan (PARADOX) and Kumer So (THE BRINK)."
