Brevard Zoo’s latest addition, a male giraffe calf born on March 17, took its first steps in a video shared to the zoo’s Facebook page.
The calf, which has yet to be named, weighs 158 pounds and measures 6’3.5" tall and was born to 16-year-old Milenna and 18-year-old Rafiki, local media report.
The calf and his mother will remain behind the scenes for a number of weeks before joining the public viewing area.
