Time for our weather update.
And our favorite weather caster Lee Jee-hyun joins us from AT Yangjae flower market center(not fixed yet).
Jee-hyun, the weather is a lot milder these days, but the fine dust is back.... however I believe you are going to tell us how having plants around your house or apartment can help us breathe a little easier?
Good morning. You're right, Mark. Certain plants like Peace lilly and Spider plant are known for their air purifying qualities,... but most plants help clean the air. It's spring, we'll get even more days with toxic smog and yellow dust... so it might be a wise idea to get some indoor plants.
Yesterday, many people were suffering from itchy eyes and sore throats...as the whole nation was choked by high levels of fine dust all day with an ultra-fine dust advisory in Seoul. The air quality will improve by the afternoon but be sure to check the levels before heading out.
The high in Seoul will be 17 degrees in Seoul, while southern regions will have higher highs hovering at 20 degrees Celsius.
Tomorrow will be even warmer with an expected high of 20 degrees in Seoul then nationwide rain on Thursday will bring temperatures back to what we would normally expect around this time of year.
That's Korea for you and here's the international weather for viewers around the world.
