President Trump on Sunday slammed political pundits over his approval ratings.
President Trump on Sunday went after political pundits for "lying" about his approval ratings.
"Rasmussen and others have my approval ratings at around 50%, which is higher than Obama, and yet the political pundits love saying my approval ratings are 'somewhat low.' They know they are lying when they say it. Turn off the show - FAKE NEWS!" Trump tweeted.
Trump has experienced a recent uptick in his approval numbers, according to a Marist poll conducted from March 5 to 6.
The poll revealed that 42% of the 1,050 adult participants have a positive view of the job Trump is doing. That's an improvement of 4% compared to the last month's survey.
Furthermore, Trump continues to assert in his public remarks that his administration has accomplished more than any other in history.
"We have done more than any first term administration in the history of our country," the president said on Saturday. "You take a look at what we have done - regulation, tax cuts, federal judges, a great, great Supreme Court. Justice Gorsuch, great."
