Police in Howell, New Jersey, have said a 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of stalking two women while they shopped on March 8 before following them home with the intent to rob them at knifepoint, nj.com reported.

The outlet reported that Tristan Reyes of Howell was charged with armed robbery, unlawful possession of a weapon and stalking two women, and police believe he may have stalked more women while they shopped.

This home surveillance footage was shared by the husband of one of the alleged victims. It shows a man pulling up outside a home and waiting for the woman to go inside, before walking up to the property.

The man runs away when he sees the family’s dog appear from the garage. The woman then goes back outside. Her husband said she was suspicious of the car parked outside her neighbor’s house, but did not realize she was the target. The man is then seen driving away.

In a Facebook post, the woman’s husband warned people to be aware of their surroundings. He said his wife did not release the man had followed her until she reviewed the surveillance video. Credit: Jeff via Storyful
