Sierra Leone election: little that glitters for gold miners

Sierra Leone is about to hold general elections, but for some, hopes of change seem remote. Three hours from Freetown, dozens spend their days sifting sand in a riverbed in the hopes of finding specks of gold to enable them to survive.
