The results of an inconclusive election in Italy have produced no clear outcome as to who will govern the country,... setting the stage for weeks of political wrangling.
Sunday's elections resulted in a hung parliament, but the populist Five Star Movement and anti-immigration League party did manage to muscle out the governing center-left Democratic party.
The Five Star Movement came out as the largest single party with a third of the vote, but the center-right coalition ended up with the most seats.
Both share the same anti-EU sentiment, as well as the same views on certain domestic matters, but neither side appears willing to take the small chair at the table.
