The Citroen SpaceTourer Hyphen is what you get when you ask a band to help design a van for touring.\r

Based on the standard SportTourer, this concept received input from the French band Hyphen Hyphen, and adds four-wheel-drive, a beefy increase in ride height, and neat 19-inch wheels. According to Citroen, that helps give it an SUV personality. It looks good on the outside, with its orange-and-gray color scheme, but the setup in the cabin is even neater. Its very, very colorful, and like all good European vans, has a manual transmission. It looks like theres seating for at least seven, but wed be worried about he imp that has on its ability to haul guitars and amps.\r

Also being shown in Geneva is the updated DS3. To our eyes, the subcomp looks more refined and premium than in its original form. It was displayed in standard, Performance, and Performance Cabriolet versions.\r

The DS3s new front fascia still has those big, almost oversized headlights, but the new look is decidedly more complex, with dedicated LED running lamps on the outside. Inside those LEDs, though, the overall look reminds us Acuras JewelEye LEDs, only theres one large emitter with three smaller units that were guessing serve as turn signals. The new headlights are tied into the grille better, too, although the look does kind of remind us of the Renault Megane. The designers made similarly delicate changes on the taillights, while the entire car seems to have been stripped of its Citroen badging, in favor of simple DS badges.\r

Beyond the updated exterior, Citroen also introduced the new DS3 Performance models, which replace the DS3 Racing as the hot-hatch model. Available in both coupe and Cabriolet, the new Performance looks broadly similar to the standard model, aside from the sportier wheels, a front chin spoiler, and twin, single-sided exhausts in back.\r

Despite being new for 2016, the DS3s engine range looks mostly unchanged. The Performance gets a 1.6-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder with 208 horsepower and 221 pound-feet of torque, which should sound familiar to any last-gen Mini John Cooper Works owners. If youre more interested in the base DS3, rest easy knowing there are a great many small gas and diesel engines for you to choose from.\r
