E! will not implement a live delay for its Oscars red carpet broadcast. Earlier this week, reports said the network was considering it after some celebrities said they would not speak to Seacrest during the pre-show, due to a sexual misconduct allegation against the TV host. An E! rep said, “As always, we tape multiple sources of content simultaneously to deliver the best possible show, and there are often brief delays between interviews. Suzie Hardy accused Seacrest of groping and harassing her for years while she worked as his personal stylist. Seacrest responded, "If I made her feel anything but respected, I am truly sorry. I dispute these reckless allegations and I plan to cooperate with any corporate inquiries that may result."
