Imli Chutney (Tamarind Chutney):
110 ml tamarind paste, (about 0,5 cup)
¾ teaspoon red chilli powder, mild
1 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
1 teaspoon black salt, (kala namak)
1 teaspoon chaat masala
1 teaspoon fennel powder (saunf)
2 teaspoons dried ginger powder, (saunth / sundh)
50 grams gur, (jaggery), broken into small pieces


0,5 teaspoon red chilli powder
1 tablespoon lime juice
0.5 cup sev, fine
1 teaspoon chaat masala
1 cup puffed rice, (murmure)
2 tablespoons coriander leaves, chopped
1,5 raw green mangoes, (about 100 grams), julienned into matchstick-like pieces
4 shallots, finely chopped
200 grams potato, boiled till soft, and finely chopped into tiny cubes
salt, to taste
imli chutney to taste
hari chutney, to taste
15 puri, (papdi)
