A polar bear feasts on a dead sperm whale after it washed up on a beach in Norway's rugged Svalbard archipelago, in the Arctic Ocean.
The footage, captured on Danes Island, shows the polar bear sniffing and preying on the carcass.
Writes the filmer: "A dead whale provides a huge windfall for Arctic scavengers and predators such as polar bears and glaucous gulls.
"This sperm whale carcass washed ashore on Danskøya, on the north-west coast of Spitzbergen, and was visited by at least four bears, although they were never together at the same time."
The clip was filmed on August 7, 2017.
