Two people miraculously escaped after their paraglider crashed soon after take off.
The passenger, Mansi Jain, and the pilot, Rajendra, were immediately rushed to a hospital by ambulance. The doctors treated them for minor injuries and discharged them immediately.
The incident occurred on February 26 in Mandsaur, Madhya Pradesh, India, during a local fair, which had several adventure sports as its main draw. The paraglider took off in an open field and crashed after reaching a height of 50 feet.
People, who were watching the flight, ran to the fallen craft and pulled out the two victims. Onlookers could be heard consoling the victims saying, ‘you are safe, nothing serious.’
Mandsaur Superintendent of Police (SP) Bharat Bhushan said the paraglider had crashed due to a technical issue.
After getting recovered Mansi said: “I am still in shock, I will never go paragliding again.”
