Good morning, the capital area is waking up to winter wonderland again but temperatures are noticeably warmer. Let's talk a bit more about the snow. The capital saw nearly 4 centimeters overnight while PyeongChang saw even more, so you will need to drive with extra caution, despite the noticeably milder temperatures... roads are covered with ice and snow.
In fact, a heavy snow advisory is in place in parts of Gangwon-do Province, including PyeongChang, with more snowfall on the way through the morning hours,... while dryness has eased in the capital with plenty of sunshine on tap.
Despite the snow, Seoul is waking up to a low at the freezing mark, Daegu is having a colder morning at minus 3 degrees. But by the afternoon, most parts will see highs jumping nearly 10 degrees higher than the lows....
The high in Seoul will get up to 10 degrees Celsius,... while Daegu and Busan will hit 12 degrees.
The outlook is looking promising for a while with no precipitation in store for Seoul.
As I mentioned, PyeongChang is waking up to a blanket of snow but we will see more sunshine later and relatively mild temperatures.
That's Korea for you and here's the international weather for viewers around the world.
