On Wednesday, medics said that the devastation of eastern Ghouta, by relentless bombardment, has forced doctors to use expired drugs, as the number of dead reached to 300 in just three days. At least 260 people were killed and 500 injured in the rebel held-enclave of Eastern Ghouta, an area outside Damascus that has been besieged by the Syrian regime. According to the United Nations, nearly 400,000 people are trapped in Eastern Ghouta, and many of them in desperate need of humanitarian aid.
