A possible tornado tore through Uniontown, Pennsylvania, on February 15, with reports of people trapped under the rubble and power outages.
More than 3,000 West Penn Power customers in Fayette County were reportedly left without power as a result of the storm. By mid-morning the following day, the electricity company said 1,100 customers in the county remained cut off, including 700 in Uniontown.
The National Weather Service warned Pennsylvania residents that flooding would continue on February 16, despite the rain easing off.
