The Broward County Sheriff’s Office in south Florida said on Wednesday, February 14, that it was responding to a shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, about 15 miles north-west of Fort Lauderdale.

The sheriff’s office said there were reports of victims, and that the shooter was still at large.

This footage shows several law enforcement vehicles driving towards the school. Vehicles belonging to both the Broward County Sheriff’s Office and the Hallandale Beach Police Department are visible, suggesting various units responded.

As the police operation was ongoing, Broward Schools tweeted: “Today, close to Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School’s dismissal, students and staff heard what sounded like gunfire. The school immediately went on lockdown but is now dismissing students. We are receiving reports of possible multiple injuries. Law enforcement is on site.” Credit: @nathalie26_t via Storyful
