Let me get this out of the way- i do not personally know Mr. Jones, so i cannot confirm everything he says as truth or not. It should be obvious that what i say in this video is my opinion. What is problematic about this interview is multi-tiered; he is dispelling information about people (which he is confirming as truth) who cannot defend themselves. He is also pegging himself to be some sort of 'socialite' who is privy to a mass amount of 'state secrets'. One thing has definitely been confirmed for me through this interview: the merging of the 'entertainment industry' and government has never been clearer.
There has been an intense focus on the 'celebrity tea' in the interview (ex. Jones' possible 'outing' of several men, such as Marvin Gaye or Richard Pryor). One thing is for sure: both Mr. Pryor and Marlon Brando (in their memoirs and commentaries/comedy) have both confirmed their relationships with men, so none of this is a surprise. Jones threw this curveball as to distract people from what he was actually saying, and to divert attention from his own participation. He can come for people who are not physically here, or people who are in a position of 'weakness', but stops short of expounding on particular situations when asked to by the interviewer.
The interviewer could have done some massive follow-up questions. The questions just seemed culturally naive. Most people he's 'exposing' in this interview, what he's saying is public knowledge on some level. With Michael, Jon Anderson (who co-wrote 'State of Independence') and Greg Phillinganes have publicly addressed/discussed the very issues Jones is speaking about. Jones is banking on the fact that most readers of the interview don't know this information, and are emotionally responding to what he says, versus dissecting it all.
He calls out Brett Ratner and Harvey Weinstein (and is upset that Weinstein does not return his calls), and even does a lazy type of support for this 'me too' movement; however, when asked about Bill Cosby he gets defensive and says he cannot talk about it. How he frames things, it's very clear he knows something. He does the same thing when speaking of the Clintons.
He speaks of how he was in the White House during the Clinton era, as if he has access to policy information. He jumps from how Propofol was the problem for Michael Jackson (no, it was not the problem... It was what was considered to be the solution, sadly, to the problem), into how he saw the ramifications of ineffective drug policies. My antennae flew right up: he was speaking as if he were an agent, and giving you just enough to stay interested.
His comments on Ivanka Trump were troubling. He spoke about 'dating' her when she was 24 and he was 72 (if the math is correct). The Trumps and the Clintons ran in the same circles of exploitation, so honestly, it sounds like she got pimped out.
JONES NEVER SPEAKS OF HIS EXPLOITS, but wants to expose others. That should give pause.
