Hundreds of motorists stranded on Japanese highway after heavy snow

Heavy snowfall has left up to 1,400 motorists stranded on a highway in Japan's Fukui Prefecture. The snowfall was reportedly the heaviest since 1981, and authorities worked overnight to dig vehicles out.
