One dead as heavy snow grips Moscow

At least one person has died and several others injured after Moscow experienced its heaviest day of snowfall since records began.
Forty-three centimeters had blanketed the Russian capital by Sunday morning, which Russia's meteorological service says is more than half of the average monthly snowfall in the space of a day.
Officials say the casualties came from a falling tree that hit an electric power line.
The heavy snow, accompanied by freezing rain, has also cut power to thousands of people and has led to dozens of flights being delayed or canceled.
