One Step Beyond was an American anthology series created by Merwin Gerard. The original series was broadcast for three seasons by the American Broadcasting Company (ABC) from January 1959 to July 1961.
Plot - During the American Revolution, Gen. George Washington is suddenly visited by visions that convince him the revolution will be successful. However, he is also troubled by visions that tell him there will be a great civil war that will occur after his death, and he doesn't know how to stop it. (IMDB)
